We want people like you to help our website explode, and to reward you we will pay you every time you use myLot!
Our goal is to provide internet users a place to earn money using the web on a day to day basis. It's easy, sign up and start discussions, post responses or comments to current discussions, or refer friends! A myLot account is all you need to get started. You will be able to view your earnings on a daily basis when you sign in.
How does this work?
We have implemented a system to give everyone who uses the internet the ability to make money. The idea is pretty simple - if you contribute to the myLot Community - whether it is by posting a new discussion, responding to a current discussion, commenting on a current discussion, or referring friends, you earn money. Our goal is to provide internet users a place to earn money using the web on a day to day basis and provide access to information they need.
We pay each and every member of myLot based on their level of activity. As stated previously all you need to do is sign up for a myLot account and we do the rest.
How do I set it up?
We can’t stress to you enough how simple the set up process is, all you need to do to start earning is sign up for a myLot account and become a user.
How do I get Paid?
Get paid monthly with minimum account balance of $10 and carry forward of unpaid amounts. You have the option to increase your minimum payment to $25, $50 or $100. All payments will be in US dollars and made via PayPal, depending on the country you reside in. All users will be required to have a valid PayPal account. myLot is not responsible for any fees incurred in the payment process (i.e. translation fees, bank fees, credit card fees, PayPal fees, etc.) Click here to learn how to sign up for a PayPal account. While we would love to pay everyone, regulations set forth by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), an office of the US Treasury, prohibits myLot is from sending money to certain countries. The good news is users from all countries will still be able to participate in myLot discussions, the bad news is users from countries included on the OFAC list will not be able to earn money for their contributions. myLot retains the right to refuse payment to any myLot user for any reason.
What is a PayPal account?
A PayPal account enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution.
How do I sign up for a PayPal account?
Glad you asked. Signing up for a PayPal account is simple. While any PayPal account will work, myLot recommends that you use a PayPal Premier account. The benefits of the PayPal Premier account are as follows:

Once you have signed up for a PayPal Account, all you have to do is enter the email address you signed up for your PayPal Account with into your myLot profile. To enter your PayPal email address, click on the edit button next to your username at the top of the page while you are signed in. Once you have clicked on the edit profile button you will need to click on the edit payment information link at the top of the page. Here you will be able to enter all the information we need in order to pay you.
Do I need a credit card to sign up for a PayPal account?
We called PayPal and they tell us you do not need a credit card to open an account or receive funds. They did say that in order to withdraw the money to your bank you would have to link your bank account.
What if I already have a PayPal account?
That’s great! All you have to do if you already have a PayPal Account is enter it into your myLot profile. You can enter your PayPal email address by clicking on the edit button next to your username at the top of the page while signed into your myLot account. Once you have clicked on the edit profile button you will need to click on the edit payment information link at the top of the page. Here you will be able to enter all the information we need in order to pay you
What if PayPal is not available in my country?
First, click here to find out if PayPal is available in your country. If it is not, at this time we are unable to pay you. You can still participate and earn and if PayPal adds service to your country we will be able to pay you at that time.
What can I do to increase my earnings?
What an excellent question, and one we hope every myLot user will ask.
Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions.
Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic.
Refer friends. For each person you send to myLot you will receive 25% of their earnings.
How do I refer friends?
All myLot users are automatically eligible to make money by referring new users to myLot. Invite friends, family, new acquaintances, forum buddies, or whomever you wish. You will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their earnings.

In general, by appending?ref=username to the end of any myLot page, your myLot referrals will be tracked to your user account.

What are the limitations?
As far as we can see, there really are no limitations. You must have a myLot account to start.
You get paid for your activity so it is up to you as to how much time and effort you put into this program. If you contribute you will earn money!
Why does myLot reward its users financially?
We believe users are the most valuable asset to the longevity of any website so why only provide them with a service, why not reward them financially?
How do I calculate my earnings?
Discussion activity earnings are calculated based on a proprietary model that rewards useful responses and relevant discussions.
